Commerical Properties

Nearly 1.7 million buildings in Germany are commercially used production buildings, office buildings, retail buildings, accommodations and (private) education buildings. Commercial properties play an exceedingly crucial role for the achievement of the climate goals. GETEC is dedicated to the complexity of the energy supply for commercially used properties and cooperates with the development of solutions for boosting the energy efficiency. Energy service contracting is one recommended example of a possible external financing model for energy efficiency measures. It offers the advantage of financing without equity capital and, where applicable, an immediate or at least medium-term relief thanks to the reduction of current expenses for energy. The gathering of in-house expertise to oversee the modernisation project is not needed. Risks can be partly outsourced.
