GETEC acquires Halo Energy shares and trigeneration plant in Torviscosa, supporting chemical industry development in Italy with high-efficiency energy solutions

Halo Energy operates under a 22-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Halo Industry, a joint venture comprising Torviscosa-based companies: Caffaro Industrie S.p.A., Spin S.p.A. and Friulia S.p.A.

As the Torviscosa site undergoes ambitious rejuvenation initiative, advanced energy solutions are imperative to meet the evolving needs of its resident companies. Through the agreement, GETEC commits to supplying approximately 70 GWh of electric energy and 40 GWh of thermal energy annually to support the site’s development ambitions.

GETEC Italia’s acquisition of the entire share capital of Halo Energy s.r.l was executed through a competitive bidding procedure, with legal advisory support from PedersoliGattai, technical due diligence from Fichtner Italia for the, and notarial assistance from Studio Notarile Ramondelli.
