GETEC donates EUR 11,000 to support children’s hospice and art association in Magdeburg

Magdeburg, Germany, [25 October 2024] – GETEC, Europe’s leading specialist in reliable and decarbonized energy and infrastructure solutions, has donated EUR 11,000 to two local institutions in Magdeburg: the Magdeburg Children’s Hospice and the Zinnober Art Association, receiving EUR 6,000 and EUR 5,000 respectively. This contribution – part of a long-standing tradition – underscores GETEC’s ongoing commitment to social projects in its local community.

The donations support important local initiatives that promote inclusion and assist families in challenging circumstances. The Magdeburg Children’s Hospice plans to use the donation to care for children with life-shortening illnesses and support their families. “The work of the children's hospice is invaluable, offering comfort and assistance to families during unimaginably difficult times. Contributing to society and improving the lives of people in our community is an integral part of who we are at GETEC”, said Pierre-Alain Graf, CEO of the GETEC Group.

The Zinnober Art Association will use the funds to foster talented artists with intellectual disabilities and showcase diversity in the art scene through exhibitions. “The creative work of the artists at Zinnober is a powerful reminder of how important it is to provide everyone with space to express their talents and visions. We are proud to support this initiative once again”, Graf concluded.
